Enjoy Flowers!

Have you ever heard Hitachi Seaside Park where you will enjoy many kinds of flowers?

Hitachi Seaside Park located in Hitachi city, Ibaraki prefecture, is known for its hill on the seaside, covered with baby blue eyes flowers in spring, and Kochia balls in autumn.

In autumn, nearly 32,000 of Kochia balls and 2 million flowers of cosmea attract visitors. Kochia gradually begins to turn red in October, and gets burning red around middle of October. Varies every year depending on weather conditions.

The park itself is 470 acres and contains a wide range of different plant species. There are about 4.5 million blue Nemophila plants, one million daffodils and 170 different varieties of tulips. Fields of buckwheat, from which the region’s famed soba is made, curve alongside flowering fields.

The view of the ocean from this glass-enclosed café is breathtaking.

Enjoy organic coffee, pasta or a snack in this sunlit spot!

Why don't you enjoy the amazing intensity of the surrounding hills at Hitachi Seaside Park in all seasons?
