The flight and the stay, as one
Private Helicopter and Luxury Hotel Packages in Japan
Japan Royal Service arranges a private helicopter charter and a luxury hotel or ryokan as one package — one contract, one coordinator, one invoice. The ground transfer between heliport and hotel is covered at both ends, and if weather cancels the flight, one company rebooks the aircraft, holds the room, and resequences the day.
Serving Tokyo, Kyoto, Hakone, Karuizawa, and Niseko, with charter routing to other domestic destinations on request.

What the helicopter-and-hotel package includes
The flight, the stay, and the ground between them — arranged under one coordinator, inside one contract. Nothing is handed off to a third booking party.
Private helicopter charter
Operated by licensed charter partners under our coordination. The aircraft is matched to the route, party size, and landing constraints of each flight — not drawn from a fixed fleet the route must bend around.
The stay, matched to you
A luxury hotel or ryokan chosen for your sleep profile, privacy needs, and design taste, then routed against the flight and the ground legs — not a fixed list you are matched to.
Heliport transfers, both ends
Heliports are not adjacent to hotels — so a chauffeured vehicle from our own fleet meets each end of the flight, held on standby rather than a fixed clock. A delayed flight strands no one.
The fleet that meets youTables and guides
Restaurant reservations where you want them, and private English-speaking guides for cultural appointments — folded into the same itinerary rather than booked beside it.
Tailor-made journeysLuggage, seat to room
Cases move alongside you — vehicle to aircraft to hotel room — with no handover point where responsibility drops.
One named coordinator
A single contact from enquiry to the last transfer. When anything moves, you hear about it once, in full, from one person — never in pieces from three suppliers.
航 · Chosen honestly
Where the helicopter earns its place
Helicopter is most valuable where rail and road are slow. On routes the Shinkansen already serves well, the saving is marginal — on these, it is real.
Mountain roads, skipped
Hakone
Road access means mountain traffic; rail means transfers. By air, the onsen country opens directly — paired with a ryokan stay timed to the flight.
The long approach, shortened
Karuizawa & Izu
Both bind the same way — mountain roads and patchwork rail. A charter turns the long approach into a short flight, with the car already waiting below.
Long ground, short air
Niseko & Hokkaido
Hokkaido's distances are measured in hours by road. For powder seasons and remote lodges, the flight is the difference between arriving and spending the day in a car.
Art, by air and sea
The Setouchi islands
Naoshima and Teshima reward unhurried days. We route the flight with a chartered cruise and a considered stay, so the islands are the point — not the logistics.
Landing permissions and routing are confirmed per flight — never guaranteed in advance. A heliport shown in a proposal is subject to per-flight confirmation by the operator and the relevant authorities.

How the package comes together
- 01
Enquiry
You state the route, the dates, the party, and the kind of stay you want. Our concierge asks the questions that shape a real proposal — and is candid about lead time from the first message. Six to twelve months out gives the widest choice of aircraft and accommodation.
- 02
Proposal
A proposal names the intended route, the aircraft type suited to your party, the candidate hotel or ryokan, and the ground transfers at both ends. Pricing is quoted per proposal — charter hours, repositioning, landing fees, and the stay all vary by itinerary.
- 03
One contract
You sign once, covering the flight, the accommodation, and the ground legs. One invoice follows. There is no separate charter contract and hotel booking to reconcile.
- 04
A named coordinator
One person is assigned to the itinerary — your contact from confirmation through the last transfer. One named contact is what turns a complex day into a calm one.
- 05
Day-of operations
The coordinator monitors weather and flight status, holds the vehicle on standby, and adjusts dinner and guide timings if the flight slips. If it cannot fly, the whole sequence moves — and you hear about it once, from one person.

The hotels and ryokan the package is built around
The accommodation is matched to the guest, not the guest to a fixed list — chosen for sleep profile, privacy, and design taste, then routed against the flight.
Gion · Miyagawa-chō
Kyoto's heritage addresses
The Imperial Hotel, Kyoto opened in March 2026 as a 55-room heritage-linked property near Yasaka; Capella Kyoto followed the same month in the Miyagawa-chō geisha district.
Both support high-privacy movement on foot — controlled entry and exit, and proximity to early or late private appointments.
Akasaka · Nihonbashi
Tokyo, before the flight
1 Hotel Tokyo opened in Akasaka in March 2026 — a calmer base than the busiest districts, minutes from the heliport transfer.
The shape is proven: Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo has paired an Oriental Suite night with a private helicopter cruise toward Mt. Fuji. We build that same arrangement across properties and regions, under one coordinator.
Late 2026 onward
Hakone & the onsen country
HOTEL THE MITSUI HAKONE opens in December 2026 — a clear hook for late-2026 and early-2027 onsen itineraries where controlled crowd contact matters.
Sought-after ryokan bind early in peak seasons; inside the package, the room is held against the flight, so neither books away from the other.
Good to know
Helicopter and hotel packages — questions, answered
Can one company book both the helicopter and the hotel in Japan?+
Yes. Japan Royal Service arranges the private helicopter charter and the luxury hotel or ryokan as one package — one contract, one coordinator, one invoice — with the ground transfer between heliport and hotel included at both ends.
How far in advance should we arrange a helicopter-and-hotel package?+
Six to twelve months gives the widest choice of both aircraft and accommodation. The charter and the hotel each carry their own minimum notice, and the tighter of the two sets the real deadline — our concierge advises which to lock first for your route and dates.
What happens if weather cancels the flight?+
One coordinator acts on the whole itinerary at once: a later charter slot is sought, the hotel is held or moved, and the ground transfer and any dining or guide timings are resequenced. Because everything sits in one contract, you never chase separate suppliers. Where a private ground transfer can replace a scrubbed flight on short notice, we arrange it as part of the same package.
How is a helicopter and hotel package priced?+
Pricing is quoted per itinerary and reflects charter hours, aircraft repositioning, landing fees, and the accommodation chosen. We do not publish figures — a tailored proposal follows your enquiry, and the price you confirm is the price you pay.
Which regions does the package serve?+
Tokyo, Kyoto, Hakone, Karuizawa, and Niseko, with charter routing to other domestic destinations on request. Helicopter saves the most where rail and road are slow — Hakone, Karuizawa, the Izu peninsula, Hokkaido, and offshore islands — and we say so when the Shinkansen is the better call.
Does Japan Royal Service own the helicopters?+
No — and that is a strength. Flights are operated by licensed charter partners under our coordination, so the aircraft is matched to the route, party size, and landing constraints of each flight rather than drawn from a fixed fleet.
Is the heliport landing guaranteed when I sign?+
No. Landing permissions and routing are confirmed per flight and are not guaranteed in advance — a heliport shown in a proposal is subject to per-flight confirmation by the operator and the relevant authorities. We state this plainly because a responsible package plans for it.
Is the transfer from heliport to hotel included?+
Yes, at both ends of the flight. A chauffeured vehicle from our own fleet — matched to the party — is held on standby rather than dispatched on a fixed clock, so a delayed flight never strands you on the tarmac.
