Sushi Saito, ranked as the 25th restaurant in Asia, is a three-Michelin-star sushi restaurant located in Minato, Tokyo, best known for serving sushi. At Sushi Saito, you can enjoy a sushi experience like no other.
Sushi Saito is owned by Chef Takashi Saito. The restaurant moved to its current location in February 2014. The restaurant has eight seats. Because seating is limited and the restaurant is highly popular, reservations have been described as essential.
Kelly Wetherille of CNN Travel described Sushi Saito as a “hidden gem.” She wrote that “tender, flavorful seafood and perfectly seasoned rice are worth every penny.” Fodor’s travel guide described the food as “the freshest sushi available in the world.” Chef Joël Robuchon—who holds the most Michelin stars of any chef in the world—once described Sushi Saito as “the best sushi restaurant in the world.”
Sushi Saito earned its third Michelin star in the 2009 list. In the Asia-only edition of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants by Restaurant magazine, Sushi Saito ranked 39th in 2013 and 25th in 2021.
