Hidden down a small alleyway off Fukuoka’s Nishinakasu street, La Maison de La Nature Goh is a quiet, stylish restaurant serving omakase (chef’s choice) – a six or seven-course menu created by talented chef-owner Takeshi Fukuyama.
La Maison de la Nature Goh has changed all that and transformed the area into a culinary destination. This pioneering restaurant serves French randam course using foods which our chefs chosen strictlyaround Kyushu. The course menu is as follows: three appetizers, fish, meat and dessert. For those who aren't familiar with French cuisine, it may be easy to imagine the Japanese banquet.
In 2016, La Maison de la Nature Goh became the first restaurant in Kyushu named to the “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” list; a feat it repeated in 2018 and 2021.

Chef
Chef Takeshi Fukuyama was born in Fukuoka in 1971. He has spent his whole life in Fukuoka on the northern shore of Japan’s Kyushu Island, starting his career as a trainee chef at in a French Restaurant Cooking during high school before honing his skill at the French restaurant, Il de France, in 1989. Later, from 1995 he served as chef at the wine restaurant, Mercury Cafe. He founded La Maison de la Nature Goh in Nishinakasu in 2002.
