Narita International Airport is one of the gateways for foreigners entering Japan.
It is Japan’s largest international airport which located in Chiba prefecture. From Narita Airport, people can go to major cities in the metropolitan area by train, and expressway buses. By using JR Narita Express, it is possible to go to Tokyo Station in 50 minutes, and to Yokohama in Kanagawa in 90 minutes. There are approximately 1,200 expressway buses run a day, which travels directly to various tourist sites such as Asakusa, Odaiba, and Tokyo Disney Resort.
The airport contains three terminals which houses flights from all major domestic and international airlines. It offers over 650 flights per day, connecting to more than 100 cities around the world and has opened a dedicated low-cost carrier (LCC) terminal in line with efforts to further enhance convenience. The airport is generally modern and efficient. It has plenty of goods and facilities. Various things are available, including travel-related goods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, electrical products, and souvenirs. Also, there is a wide variety of restaurants such as Japanese and Western cuisine.
