The GranAce is the largest van silhouette in the executive fleet — long wheelbase, wide power sliding door and a low step. Its size buys the cabin its legroom; from the curb it reads as authority without flash.

The interior

Inside the cabin

Interior view of the Toyota GranAce Premium armchair rows

Six individual armchairs, each reclining with armrests, arranged in three paired rows with an aisle between — no one shares a bench, and every guest keeps limousine-level legroom. A composed, quiet cabin built for a full party travelling as equals.

  • Six independent armchairs

Every seat stands on its own — reclining, armrested, set apart so no one shares a bench.

  • Limousine-level legroom

Stretch-out spacing front to back, the kind usually kept for the rear of a limousine.

  • A boardroom on the move

Room enough to talk, plan, or simply travel as one party between meetings.

  • A composed, quiet cabin

A hushed, well-insulated interior keeps conversation easy and the road far away.

  • Climate for every row

Rear air conditioning reaches every armchair, so the back rows stay as cool as the front.

A wide sliding door and a low step make boarding effortless, while a full suite of driver aids keeps the long transfer smooth and unhurried.

Seat layout

Where everyone sits

Three passenger rows of two armchairs each, six seats behind the driver. Every seat is individual — reclining, armrested, aisle access from both sides. When five or fewer travel, the front passenger seat stays free for bags or a tour guide.

What the compartment holds

The bay behind the third row holds about four large cases and six carry-ons. With five or fewer aboard, the front passenger seat carries overflow — a full six-guest party flying with full luggage pairs best with a luggage car.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the GranAce and the Alphard?+

Seats. The Alphard carries up to seven using a three-seat rear bench; the GranAce gives all six guests an individual armchair with more legroom. For a party of five or six travelling as equals, the GranAce; for a family that likes sitting together, the Alphard.

How much luggage fits in the GranAce with six passengers?+

About four large cases and six carry-ons in the rear bay. Six guests with full airline luggage is the one load the bay cannot swallow — tell us the case count and we either run under capacity or add a luggage car.

Is the GranAce comfortable for long intercity days?+

It is built for them — the independent seats recline for rest, the long wheelbase settles the ride, and the same chauffeur carries the whole route with stops shaped to the party.
